Hey guys having an issue getting IG on my laptop when decal is runnin. It's a Gateway running on Vista.


Sometimes I'll "Enter" on a char and the text box and backpack will show up, but when it looks like I should come out of portal space it gives me an error. Sometimes when I click to join a server it will just give me the error then. This ONLY occurs when decal is running (even if I have all the add-ons turned off).

accclient has stopped working


A problem caused the program to stop workin correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

You need to install AC/Decal/All Plugins OUTSIDE of the program files folder

Check that link. About 5 posts down, there is a post with how to install everything correctly in Vista/Win7. And make sure all the pre reqs are installed from the first post in that link.

Just followed those guide lines - Had already installed all of that last night.


Just switched it into c:/games like 5th post down says

Did you actually uninstall everything and reinstall to the C:/games?


You can't just move the stuff over. And the order is important too. Needs to be done exactly how the post says to do it.

Please young Piggling, this doesn't concern you. I play on my PC, Laptop would be helpful for my Alt account. Deleted everything and will try exact order I suppose

Your video drivers are from 2008. Have you checked on ati's (amd) website for updated drivers?

Also, isn't there a service pack 2 for Vista now?

Edit: Just to make sure, disable Lifetank and the Darkside filter and see if you can get in game with decal running.
